  The subs that have read my blogs know that one of the things I enjoy the most during sessions is to be creative. I enjoy when a session is a little bit like a puzzle to solve, mostly when it comes to shibary and hanging.  I love making my own nawa or kinbaku when I have a specific idea in my head; when I want my sub's body to take a specific form. I enjoy playing with the ropes to make that shape happen. Spread their legs in the air and have access to their ass. Tie them in a uncomfortable way where if they move they hurt themselves. When I came back from my short vacation, I had a very interesting meeting with Rie Asagiri to talk about my first year as a domina and where I will be going from now.  I had some moments of doubts and wonders in June and wasn't sure exactly what was happening. Something was shifting, but I was not ready to face it.   Two of my subs are really into chocking and strangulation and I have been enjoying it a lot lately too.  There is something so delightful about looking them in the eyes while pressing down and seeing  some kind of fear and deep pleasure and arousal from the blood flow not reaching their brain anymore. I realized during this session that I really enjoy unhinged subs. There is something very animal when they fully let go to their fantasies and into pushing themselves to some extremes.  During this double session with Mistress Hikaru, this sub wanted to push his pain threshold and limits. The more we flogged him or spanked him, the more he wanted it.   As I wrote in a previous blog, I see myself as probably being a bit too kind for a domina, sometimes. I know empathy is a great quality, but I feared it might have taken over during sessions. I realised that if a sub is extremely soft and kind I tend to be the same. But when a sub is a bit Brady. I become kind of mean. I adapt to my sub's behavior. Some of them need a domina with a strong character that mistreats them. Others need a softer domina that takes care of them, and I have been trying to find that perfect balance for my sessions.  A sub of mine tried being a bit bratty with me, just to see what would happen, and at that moment, the session became even more fun, because he discovered another side of me.  He called himself a princess, and so to be treated like one.   I have finally overcome some type of fears I had about studio S3.  As my skills improved and my interests in different types of plays broaden, I realized that I now really enjoy having sessions in studio S3. The room is small, but it has all the amenities I need to have a very fun and playful time there.  During this session, I left my sub on the other side of the gate. I sat on a chair and waited for him to beg properly. I consider that a sub that knows how to beg and not ask for or demand, deserves some sort of attention. It makes me happy when they get small and desperate.  He did stay there for a long time. I teased him with the keys that open the lock and humiliated him later on when I attached is balls to the gate.   I realized, after a year since I started this profession, that I always had a hard time separating my domina brain from my strong empathetic, every day brain.  It was always a fight between being a domina and simply my own self. I know some of my subs really love that "normal" and kind person. But I know it isn't working for others. Many subs are looking for a domina. Not an "everyday girl" with a whip. During my first session in August, something seemed to have clicked. I found myself in that domina zone. I think the fact that the sub was also deep in his submissive-self helped me fully embracing my domina-self. The flow was right, the feelings were right. I stopped being too kind and as he kept begging: "Break me, mistress" I became that domina I was looking for during that first year of learning the profession. The empathie wasn't gone.   Finally had a double with Mistress Hikaru some time ago and her expertise and knowledge was amazing!  I feel very lucky to have played with her and one of my subs. He also really enjoyed her skills and style.  It was a very fun session with a very special sub that can take a lot of pain, and pleasure.  We had the session in studio S3 where new amenities have been placed (a cage door and a spanking table) and we used it all, including the tools in in the chest.  I put him in the cage and we left him there for a moment, while we went outside to enjoy a bit of the weather.
