Last weekend I was given the opportunity to finally participate in Domina Shinju’s workshop.
I’ve done myself self-bondage while my memory was still fresh.
For example, I could use the bondage in the picture to create spread beaver style suspension like a swing.
The lower body bondage doesn’t have to be untied to do anal.
In real-life session, rope bondage must be fast and easy to untie.
So Dividing the shibari in two is convenient.
Domina Shinju’s rope is like magic - her technique allows the ropes to release themselves with such ease.
I meet clients who want to be hanged in standard (love) hotels, but half suspension using the door and whatnot is kind of the limit.
At times like these, I wish we were able to have a dungeon.
At a glimpse, we might look like we are underprivileged.
However, if you spin it in a good way, we (that includes you) are doing some amazing stuff.
Because we have less we could utilize what we already have to the max to lead a great session.
Flexibility and creativity bloom from this type of circumstance.
Being bitter over difficult situation is like psychological self-bondage, which could lead to loss of opportunities.
It is definitely better to look on the flip side and be grateful of what you have right now.
I’m going to incorporate new variations of shibari I learned from the workshop.
In addition, I implemented heavy duty leather restraints I haven’t owned for while after destroying the metal part.
They are a set of 3: collar, wrist, and ankles with thick paddings for comfortability.
D-rings come with all of them to combine with ropes.
(The color is purple, of course!)
