I found myself talking with a masochist about the “origin of where their proclivities first took root.”
It’s something I often ask when I meet someone for the first time—
some people have a clear trigger, while others say they simply don’t know.
There are also those who state firmly that there was no cause at all.
But in many cases, it seems to be something that developed over time.
Perhaps some people came into it through reasons that are difficult to speak of openly.
And as you may already know, being exposed to distorted pleasure and relentless suffering—being driven to the point where it feels like both mind and body are set ablaze—can, at times, offer a temporary release.
This is only one perspective. Whether it is true or not is for you to decide.
But pleasure will always, in the most direct way, stand on your side.
I don’t believe that, in engaging in SM, one needs to let go of those “roots.”
People are allowed to have many different sides to themselves.
I hope that, someday, you come to understand the self that lies deep within you—
to lay bare not only your unsightly aspects, but your true feelings as well—
and arrive at a place of deep acceptance.
What I can do, ultimately, is to dominate through BD.SM.
But rather than simply tracing surface-level fetishes,
as someone who has seen those raw, exposed roots,
I want to draw out the points where we truly resonate—
and pursue them thoroughly.
I am the complete opposite of a virtuous or saintly person,
so I may not be able to fully immerse myself in your emotions.
Even so, I am someone who has seen those naked roots.
This may have been a somewhat heavy piece,
but if it reaches even one person, that is enough.
